I am finally back!
Well, it has been seven months since my last post! So much has happened! I gave birth to my daughter (a month early), survived the trauma of a her head injury and RSV in the same week, joined a great Bible study (and rejoined the world after a rough pregnancy), and most recently visited a dear friend and went on a great family vacation. Whew, time has flown! My baby girl is almost seven months old! "A" is growing by leaps and bounds and talking up a storm! I cannot believe how fast they are growing up before my eyes. Life is sweet for the most part right now, and I feel incredibly blessed. The following posts will highlight my past seven months, crazy and good times!

32 Weeks and Counting Down!
Well, I have made it, by the grace of God, to week 33 starting tomorrow! I cannot wait for my baby girl to get here, but she needs to stay in there at least another month! Don't think I will make it to 40 weeks though. Today has been a good day, I got to get out of the house a little. I went to Hobby Lobby and only had to dodge two coughers! I am, for the most part, very paranoid of catching flu, since I alread have anemia, diabetes, and other health issues with this pregnancy. Thought it would not be crowded, but I was wrong. Anyhow, I also ate a double cheeseburger, which I usually don't since I have also become a little fearful of eating out and catching something and because of the diabetes. So yay, I took some risks today, which is probably good for me. I have basically quarantined myself. Some days I am really scared of getting sick, and some days I am not. It is so hard because I am just trying to keep myself and my baby healthy. I know God is in control, yet I still think I should use precaution and common sense. Hard to find a balance for me personally. The only other time I have been out this week was to go to the doctor. I am not that stir crazy, but I miss my friends. I miss church. I haven't been in about two months partially since I am keeping A out of nursery. We live in a big place, and soooooooooo many are sick right now. I am not healthy enough to take care of a sick family right now, so I am trying to make the best decisions. Please pray for us all, for our sanity, health, and to make the best decisions regarding our family. At some point after baby girl arrives, we will have to return to normal. We can't just stay in until next summer. That would not be healthy for any of us. I pray God will protect us and that I will learn to not be so fearful. So even though today has been a good day, the whole sickness thing is weighing heavily on my mind. It is good to vent sometimes, and this is a good outlet for that as well as for other things. I like having this as my journal even if I seldomly blog. It is still a record of trials, triumphs, good times, bad times, and memories. That is mainly why I do it. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! We are certianly going to try at my house.

Belly Picture -26 weeks and 5 days
Here is the big belly. I was so determined to get a pic every week this time, but due in large part to sickness, I have not. This is one of the few, but I plan to get a lot more from here on out to the finish! Doc says there is nowhere for her to go but out, and as long as I expland in front and not so much more in back, I'll be happy! (I'll really be happy either way)

Happy Mother's Day, Happy Birthday
Happy Mother's Day to all. I am thankful for all of my children. God has greatly blessed me. I have been absent from the blog world for over a month now because I have been very sick with hyperemesis (severe form of morning sickness) with my current pregnancy. This little baby is kicking my rear, but I am so thankful to be having another baby. I will say that after hospitalization and now being home on iv fluids/medication, it has been one of the most trying times physically/emotionally that I have EVER had! There have been some really BAD days/nights. Today I have been answered with a yes from God. I prayed for a day of happy feelings and feeling good physically, and so far I have received both. I have not felt this good in weeks! Though I know I am not at the end of my sickness yet, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and it is getting closer. I am in the middle of week eleven. So from here on out, if history repeats itself, I should feel better and better. I cannot wait to no longer be in need of this iv in my arm, although I am thankful that I can at least be at home instead of in the hospital. What a crazy ride this has been! I hope the rest of the journey is smoother. Please pray that this will be so for me. I never knew I could manage my own iv and administer medication through iv too! I have learned a lot by necessity. I am doing things I never thought I would have to do. I do not understand why I am sick again as far as why God has allowed it. I have been miserable, but God's ways are not our ways, and I hope through this trial, I will obtain strength. On another note, Happy Birthday to my first child who is in Heaven with Jesus and would be two today. I rejoice that he/she is in a better place and find comfort in getting to meet him/her one day. It is weird to think that I would not have my "A" had that baby been born. And would I be having this one? I don't know. Yet I wish I could have them all here with me. So many thoughts I cannot wrap my head around. I am glad I am not the orchestrator. God is in charge, and that is best. He has given me what he sees fit for me to have. He is good no matter what.

Grits, Gatorade, French Fries, and Beth Moore
So I'm pumped about going to see Beth Moore tonight. Though I woke feeling quite yucky, some grits, french fries, and Gatorade have kept it at bay so far. I am praying to feel well the remainder of the day so I can enjoy my trip to NOLA tonight with my sister-in-law! A is taking a nap, and it is pretty quiet around here. I just need to do a little housework, get dressed for the evening, and go get my SIL some goodies from the local bakery for her bday that was two days ago. My hubby is off today and is going to be a saint by watching our little one while I go to see Beth Moore tonight and tomorrow! Enjoy your weekend guys!
